ENVIRONMENT

Safeguarding the environment also requires correct and qualified waste management. Real knowledge of waste guarantees it is efficiently handed and contributes to cutting down indiscriminate delivery to the dump, favouring recovery and recycling of secondary raw materials.

TYPE ANALYSIS OF WASTE OF THE PROVINCE OF BOLZANO 2016/2017 CAMPAIGN

Sampling

Our specialised technicians perform sampling on every kind of waste: liquid, solid, pasty and granular.
The sample, duly packaged and sealed, is delivered to one of our laboratories (or as an alternative to a laboratory chosen by our client) so it can be analysed for characterisation or to check compliance of the waste with current regulations.
Sampling plans and/or frequency are decided together with our client in compliance with relevant regulations:

UNI 10802 “LIQUID, GRANULAR, PASTY WASTES AND SLUDGES. MANUAL SAMPLING AND PREPARATION AND ANALYSIS OF ELUATES.
CEN/TS 15442 “SOLID RECOVERED FUELS. SAMPLING METHODS”
IRSA CNR CII-UNI 9246 REGULATION

Type analysis

Type analysis (for example for waste classified by EWC: 19.12.12 -19.12.10 – 15.01.06 – 20.03.01) is the only way to establish their composition properly.
Whether we are dealing with untreated waste flows or treated waste flows, monitoring them and ensuring correct and effective management requires typology analyses, so operators can take any necessary corrective steps to help:

OPTIMISE THE WASTE TREATMENT PROCESS
OPTIMISE THE WASTE SELECTION PROCESS
IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF SECONDARY RAW MATERIALS PRODUCED
REDUCE THE SHARE OF OVERFLOW WASTE (EWC:19.12.12) TO BE SENT TO THE DUMP
MONITOR PERCENTAGE OF WASTE PRESENT IN SEPARATE COLLECTION
Type analyses are performed according to the relevant regulations (and/or on the basis of specific operative needs agreed upon with the client) such as:
ANPA RTI CTN_RIF 1/2000 MANUAL
ISPRA GUIDELINES 145/2016
ANCI-CONAI TECHNICAL ATTACHMENTS

Thanks to constant study of the relevant regulations and to the experience we have built up from 2006 to the present, our team has carried out more than 5000 type analyses on every possible kind of waste such as:

SEPARATELY COLLECTED MUNICIPAL WASTE
(EWC: 15.01.01 – 15.01.02 – 15.01.06 – 20.01.01 – 20.01.08)
MIXED MUNICIPAL WASTE
(EWC: 20.03.01 – 20.03.03)
NON-HAZARDOUS SPECIAL WASTE
(EWC: 19.12.12 – 19.12.10 – 19.05.03 – 19.01.12)
